Summer Recipes by Stephanie Alexander

Summer is well and truly here, and what better time to add some new seasonal recipes to the menu. We asked Australian food icon Stephanie Alexander AO what’s in this season.

“Summer is all about barbecues with family and friends. Barbecue favourites include vegetable skewers; grilled zucchini, eggplant and Romaine lettuce halves; corn on the cob; fritters; and chickpea, lentil and veggie burgers. Serve these grilled treats with a selection of summer salads. You can also cook homemade pizza on the barbecue – kids will love coming up with creative – and delicious! – topping combinations.” – Stephanie Alexander AO

As part of our partnership with the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation, Stephanie will be highly involved with the design of The Fabric’s on-site kitchen and garden facility and edible cook’s patches.
