The Fabric team and Altona North Primary School (ANPS) students eagerly joined forces to rejuvenate the school's vegetable garden as part of Mirvac's initiative to give back to local communities through National Community Day.

Mirvac has proudly partnered with ANPS and the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation (SAKGF) to support the wider Altona North community through the improvement of the school garden and kitchen facilities to encourage positive habits for life.

The students were thrilled to have helping hands as they took part in the day's activities which included weeding and planting new succulents, citrus trees and seedlings in the school's vegetable garden to nurture the importance of growing, harvesting and cooking with homegrown produce.

To continue nurturing the importance of homemade food, Mirvac is committed to improving the school's kitchen to encourage cooking classes with the children to teach them lifelong skills. The Fabric is committed to investing in health, wellbeing, education and community.
